# Insider Tips:

01 -
  • The combination of cabbage and kale delivers a powerful dose of antioxidants that you can actually feel working
  • Fresh ginger adds a natural warmth that cuts through any bitterness from the greens
  • It takes literally ten minutes from produce to glass, making it harder to talk yourself out of trying it
02 -
  • Raw cabbage can cause bloating for some people, so start with smaller amounts if your digestive system is sensitive
  • The quality of your produce dramatically affects the flavor — wilted kale makes bitter juice, so use the freshest greens you can find
  • This juice separates quickly, so give it a quick stir before each sip
03 -
  • Run your hardest vegetables through the juicer first, then use the softer ones to help push through any remaining pulp
  • Invest in a citrus press instead of squeezing lemons by hand — you'll get significantly more juice with less effort
